The office of Steven Pantazis Architecture, located in Chicago, is a collection of design professionals committed to producing thoughtful, highly detailed architecture of the finest quality. The firm is devoted to sustainability and is fully integrated with BIM resulting in the capability to take on a greater number of projects of a greater scale while maintaining a small, highly adaptable practice that is exceptionally responsive to client needs. The built work ranges in typology and scale, from furniture to buildings and master plans, and from single family homes to urban interventions of public space. Conceptual aspirations of the work are tempered and well-grounded by the pragmatic demands of client vision, budget and schedule and are marked by tectonic innovation and exploration of materiality.

The firm’s work has received numerous awards and has been exhibited and published widely. Steven Pantazis, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, serves as the lead designer and principal-in-charge of the firm. Prior to forming his practice, he worked in top Chicago offices serving in roles of project architect and construction administration to project management and lead designer for multi-mullion dollar apartment buildings.

He received a Master of Architecture degree with Honors from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is currently a part time adjunct faculty in the Art and Architecture Department at Harold Washington College.
